Anachronism: The paint scheme you used on the Avenger is typical for late 1942, during which the national insignia on US military aircrafts consists of just a blue disc with a white star. The addition of the white bar to either side of the blue disc does not begin until 1943.
Typical 1943 scheme:
Note the position of the "Star & Bar" insignia on the rear fuselage:

BTW, the Star & Bar on the bottom right wing of your model has the direction reversed. The top of the star should be pointing forwards.
Good work on the details of the Cyclone engine.

It was pretty frikin hard to do that engine.
I decided to keep it seperate, along with other parts to act as "generic spares" for future models. Fiddling with a Corsair, Thunderbolt and Black Widow right now.
May put that engine in those models too.
