  What is YS Flight?  
 


YS Flight is a flight simulator created by Soji Yamakawa. It is both a single and multiplayer game which means you could play online with your friends or against the computer AI. What's unique about YS Flight is that it is arround 6MB(before add-ons) in size, the planes are easily addable and editable, and it does not come with all the other "junk" that most other games have. There's also a pretty advanced Flight Record feature that allows you to view how you flew with time precision. You could fly air combats against the computer, fly the endurance mode to see how long you can last, fly the intercept missions to intercept bombers, lead a squadron of planes and fly formation or you could just hop on to your favourite plane and enjoy a nice ride in one of the many maps in this game. The maps can also be added or edited. The game is also in constant development with new features added and perfected during two releases a year. It gets even better than that. The game is free! Yep, that's right, Free!

Following environment is required

  • Windows95/98/Me/NT4.0/2000/XP or Linux
  • Pentium 300MHz or faster (500MHz or faster is recommended).
  • 64MB RAM or larger (128MB or larger is recommended).
  • DirectX 3.0 or later.
  • Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher (to read documentations)

Following devices are recommended but not required.

  • Joystick. It's better if the joystick has a POV control.
  • Even better if you have a throttle lever, and don't forget a rudder pedal Smile

YS Flight Simulation can be downloaded from the YS "Support Page" found on the YS Flight site.


Warning: Do not dowload YS Flight if you plan on visiting the EFCN YS room, as it will automatically download it for you and check it each time you enter the room (anti-cheat feature).
(Note: EFCN is constantly behind in versions and sometimes looks abandoned, so if you want the newest features to work and a lively group, stick here and play on our servers)
