General Note:
While the administrators and moderators of this forum will attempt to remove or edit any generally objectionable material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these forums express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators, moderators or webmaster (except for posts by these people) and hence will not be held liable. If you have any problems contact the staff of the site so we can discuss the problem(And keep the fights off the forum pages). It will save both you and us time and a lot of headaches.
This forum system uses cookies to store information on your local computer. These cookies do not contain any of the information you have entered at signup; they serve only to improve your viewing pleasure. The e-mail address is used only for confirming your registration details and password (and for sending new passwords should you forget your current one).
Administrators
Currently the active administrators of this site includes Jacn (also the owner), Skyline, and taskforce_58.
Forum
1. The preferred language of YSPilots(Formerly YSTK) is English. Other languages, overuse of punctuations and smilies(emoticons), and sub-languages like 133t will be tolerated pending the fact that they are used sparingly as well as grammar and spelling mistakes.
2. Do not post offensive material on the forum, that includes text, linked files, and uploaded files. If you post them they will be removed and you will be banned for one week for the first offense.
3. Do not double post. If you posted something a few days ago, nobody has replied, the preferred way to handle it is to copy your previous post, then delete it, and start a new reply with your changes or added information. NOTE: This rule does not apply in private(group/squad) forums.
4. Spamming the forum(posting replies or topics with no real comments, just simple words and smiles) will get you warned, and if you still do it banned for a week.
5.Do not post or upload items that are copyrighted or contain copyrighted material. NOTE:
We must state that all uploads and posts are the views of the person who uploaded them and not of the site, any problems should be sent to the staff of the site so we can evaluate and remove the item.
6. If you are promoting a squad/clan/site for YSFlight or another game we require you only post a single topic, and do not spam your message in other posts.
7. The staff of YSPilots has the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit.
8. All posts/threads automaticaly become the property of YSP at the time of their posting and are therefore copywrited(with the exception of user created add-ons which belong to the creator).
Titles
1. To have a title you have to buy the privilege from the "Special FX Store" in the shop.
2. Do not post offensive material in your title, if you do it will be removed and you will be banned for one week for the first offense.
Avatars
1. To have a avatar you have to buy the privilege from the "Special FX Store" in the shop.
2. Do not post offensive material in your avatar, if you do it will be removed and you will be banned for one week for the first offense.
3. Maximum size of avatars is 175x130 pixels. Oversize avatars will be removed immediately.
Signatures
1. To have a signature you have to buy the privilege from the "Special FX Store" in the shop.
2. Graphics in the signature (i.e. banners) must not be bigger than 600 x 100 pixels in size, and do not have more than two lines of text with them. Any signature banners that are deemed too large will be removed immediately. If more than one such graphics are used, their combined size must not be greater than 600 x 100.
3. If you signature is all text we request that there are no more than six lines to it, and no large text.
4. Do not post offensive material in your signature, if you do it will be removed and you will be banned for one week for the first offense.
The points system
1. All "special effects" on the user profile that accompanies a user's post (e.g. avatars, signatures, title color / shadings) must be bought at the Effects Shop. The shop button is at the top of the site, just underneath the site banner.
2. There is no refunds at the shop. If you bought an effect and later removed it, you don't get the point(s) back.
3. All effects cost 1 point. All users start out with 5 points. If you are a new user and do not get the 5 points at the beginning, please contact one of the administrators immediately.
4. At YSP administrators discretion, extra points may be handed out to individual user or to all users as the situation requires.
5. Users can no longer trade points.
6. Users breaking forum rules may find their remaining points reduced by administrators.
Squads
1. To form a new squad hosted on this site you must have four people(yourself included) who are in good standing at YSPilots. They then must publicly state their want for a forum and usergroup in the "General YS" section of the site.
2. You cannot be in more than one combat squadron at a time, being in a combat squad and a non-combat squad(VDT, YGL...etc) is ok.
3. There are no rules regarding squad aircraft performance limits, so the preferred way to have a squad battle is for both sides to use the same model. The preferred model is the stock YSFlight F-16.
4. Benefits of a YSP squad are a private forum, sub-domain with a sub-site(after a period of time, with an active group), and a usergroup.
Community
1. Users will be banned permanently if they perform any actions that may damage the YSPilots community. These actions could include, but are not limited to, setting up a website in competition, slagging off YSPilots, harassing staff for not fixing problems quick enough(especially if its a problem that was already noted on the forum), and/or hacking YSPilots.(Lucas Rule: from the original set of rules)

Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions. You agree that the webmaster, administrator and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. As a user you agree to any information you have entered above being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent the webmaster, administrator and moderators cannot be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised.
You are also required to submit to and accept any changes in this set of rules for the duration of your account at YSP. There will be notifications when the rules are updated. If you want your account removed at any time contact Jacn, Skyline or Taskforce 58 (Luca is not a day to day administrator anymore).
Offensive material is anything abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws.
These rules are retroactive to all accounts, not just new members. |
